In a stunning admission, officials in the Obama Administration admitted to The New York Times they resisted producing a metric to determine whether the border is secure because President Obama did not want any hurdles placed between illegal aliens and a pathway to citizenship (The New York Times, Mar. 21, 2013).

The admission was made to the New York Times Thursday, a day after Department of Homeland Security (DHS) officials shocked Members of Congress by announcing that despite promises to develop one, they still have no official way to measure whether the border is secure. In 2011, the Obama Administration abandoned the metric of “operational control” and it planned to develop a new “holistic” measure, called the Border Condition Index (BCI) to measure border security. Indeed, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano herself told Congress in October 2011 that this index would be able to provide “the big picture” for measuring progress at the border and that it would be ready the second quarter of Fiscal Year 2012. Upon learning the Obama Administration delayed developing a border security metric to protect a pathway to citizenship for illegal aliens, the FAIR sharply criticized both the Administration and those in Congress who are trying to ram a mass amnesty bill through Congress.

“The American people need to understand that the current administration has no intention of honoring any enforcement commitments that might be included in an amnesty bill. Both the administration and leading lawmakers are making it clear that enforcement will either be delayed endlessly or ignored altogether,” said FAIR’s President Dan Stein.

“Moreover, how can Congress possibly consider passing mass amnesty legislation when the Department of Homeland Security admits it has no way of measuring whether the border is secure, and when Obama Administration officials say they don’t want one?” he concluded. Let the president be duly warned.

Rep. Walter B. Jones Jr., R-N.C., has introduced a resolution declaring that should the president use offensive military force without authorization of an act of Congress, “it is the sense of Congress” that such an act would be “an impeachable high crime and misdemeanor.”

Almost every week brings a new reason for the United States House of Representatives to bring impeachment charges against President Obama. The question of the day is not why he should be impeached but why it hasn’t already been done.

Well, really, folks: Is Obama’s disregard of the Constitution really news? He has done it so many times it doesn’t make news anymore. Democrats approve it and Republicans in Congress appear to accept it – not all Republicans, of course, but far too many.

The list of Obama’s constitutional violations is growing by the day and ought to be the topic of not only nightly news commentary but also citizens’ town-hall meetings and protest rallies.
Just within his first and at the time of this writing, his only tenure of POTUS, Barack Obama has managed to really create an ugly mess of the U.S. Constitution.

One such matter comes in his executive order or policy change whereby birth control – to include abortions are now able to utilize federal taxpayer dollars to pay for them.

For those who don’t know – and we specifically state this matter for our foreign audience – under the Establishment clause and especially the Free Exercise clause of the First Amendment have been egregiously defiled in order that President Obama’s, Obamacare could receive federal taxpayer money to afford such costs. It should be duly noted that in over 220 years no individual ever approached those two clauses for birth control which as you can appreciate is not within purview of the presidency.

In a different matter completely, specifically, Article I, Section 8, of the Constitution reserves for Congress alone the power to declare war, a restriction that has been sorely tested in recent years, including Obama’s authorization of military force in Libya.

Former U.S. Rep. Tom Tancredo claims that Jones introduced his House Concurrent Resolution 107 in response to startling recent comments from Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta.

“This week it was Secretary of Defense Panetta’s declaration before the Senate Armed Services Committee that he and President Obama look not to the Congress for authorization to bomb Syria but to NATO and the United Nations,” Tancredo writes. “This led to Rep. Walter Jones, R-N.C.; introducing an official resolution calling for impeachment should Obama take offensive action based on Panetta’s policy statement, because it would violate the Constitution.”

In response to questions from Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala., over who determines the proper and legal use of the U.S. military, Panetta said, “Our goal would be to seek international permission and we would … come to the Congress and inform you and determine how best to approach this, whether or not we would want to get permission from the Congress – I think those are issues we would have to discuss as we decide what to do here.”

“Well, I’m almost breathless about that,” Sessions responded, “because what I heard you say is, ‘We’re going to seek international approval, and then we’ll come and tell the Congress what we might do, and we might seek congressional approval.’ And I just want to say to you that’s a big [deal].”

Asked again what the legal basis for U.S. military force was Panetta suggested a NATO coalition or U.N. resolution.
Sessions was dumbfounded by the answer. As such he chided Panetta with, “They can provide no legal authority. The only legal authority that’s required to deploy the United States military is of the Congress and the president and the law and the Constitution.”

In a separate act entirely President Obama has put forth twenty three such executive orders as far as his knee jerk reaction to gun control – which as you know is a protected right by the Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.

As such thousands of gun owners across America have had enough of the Obama administration’s attack on the Second Amendment – and they’re preparing to take their concerns to the capitols in at least 47 states this Saturday at 12 p.m.

Which are you– Makers or Takers

A new Pulse Opinion Research (POR) survey provides all the evidence needed to conclude that America was mortally wounded by the reelection of Barack Obama. For whatever their reason, the “Makers” in our country saw fit to stay home and allow the “Takers” and their enablers to ascend to power. Now the country will reap the devastation brought on by their decision.

The opinion splits found in the POR report on every important indicator of the financial health of the country could not be clearer. While an overall 59% think the country is on the wrong track, 87% of Republicans (the Makers’ Party) said “wrong track” and 54% of Democrats (the Takers’ Party) saw the nation as being on the right track. Why should they think otherwise with so much “free stuff” coming their way paid for by taxes collected from the Makers?

Everything is “free” in Comrade Obama’s land of milk and honey – isn’t it? Sixty percent of the Takers believe they will be better off after another four years of Obama’s “free stuff for all”; but only 30% of the Takers believes their children will be better off. This attitude suggests a live in the now mentality. For reasons we don’t believe need further explanation are what if the generation before your current generation decided on the same value or lack thereof system. Do you think that education would be as wide spread and have an easy access to use? How about the civil rights thinking in our nation?

By contrast, just 4% the “Makers” say their children will be better off; 80% said their children’s lives will be bleaker under more of Comrade Obama’s largesse. This clearly proves the base selfishness of the Takers. It shows that although they believe their children will be worse off tomorrow because of the way they want to live the next four years, they don’t give a damn.

The Makers are frightened and upset about the horrible mess their children have been handed, but the Takers are chanting, “O-BAM- A; O-BAM-A; FREE STUFF; FREE STUFF; O-BAM-A!” African Americans, whose unemployment is double that of whites and substantially higher now than it was when Obama came to office, are of course more upbeat than any other group. Forty four percent of African Americans think the country is moving on the right track. A huge 56% of African Americans think their children will be better off after four more years of Comrade Obama’s bottomless

“Free stuff for all (well, almost all)” policies while just 10% of whites feel the same way. That’s 56% for one group and 10% for the other – any questions. Sure we have a bonafide question. Q: How is it that African Americans see the unemployment rate within the ranks as well as the rate is substantially higher than when Obama took office are full of so much praise for Obama rather than being critical. It really appears that the white and Latin American populace are the people making the most waves insofar as the evidence shows that Obama’s programs, law breaking, and squandering every opportunity for economic growth for America are in fact the one’s holding Obama to the fire.

The Immigration and Nationality Act

The Immigration and Nationality Act, or INA, was created in 1952. Before the INA, a variety of statutes governed immigration law but were not organized in one location. The McCarran-Walter bill of 1952, Public Law No. 82-414, collected and codified many existing provisions and reorganized the structure of immigration law. The Act has been amended many times over the years, but is still the basic body of immigration law.

One notion that must be adhered to above all of the rest is that I or anyone else here at The Contemplative Thinker has any disrespect, disenchantment, or disservice with the majority of illegal aliens that are in the United States of America. Born and raised in Southern California one would be completely antisocial not to have many, many Latino amigos.

It is worthy of noting that at one time I too was an illegal immigrant in a foreign country; albeit, I didn’t intentionally go and break their law of the land, or travel to that nation without proper immigration documents – which I hope you will appreciate saved my rear in the end.

Therefore it is with compassion, understanding, and the overall sense of wanting to make a better society that I have such a passion with this issue. In addition, I would not be telling the truth if there were some attitudes I don’t like or public policy decisions being made here in the USA. The disrespect we are shown by our own elected officials especially the arrogant African-American who resides in a White House and collects a salary of which I am a part of supplying for this egomaniac is so out of control.

What I am trying to get at is person to person there is not any degree of a problem that I have with you – the illegal immigrant. You will no doubt notice that I do not use such words as undocumented, irregular, unauthorized, or any other word than illegal. This exists simply because you have broken a law to gain entrance into a place that has laws that prohibit it.

Subsequently, most of your parents, aunties, uncles, and other relatives that are here – also illegally – are not assisting you and/or your future, but who knows right? I do not like the expression “through no fault of their own” simply because I feel that is a politically correct way of identifying a person’s interests.

Let’s look at it this way – if you are here in the USA illegally by no fault of your own – then by reason or law of cause and effect someone must be at fault. If not you then let’s say it is your parents fault. Do you feel as though they should be fined? Or do you feel as though they too should get a free-pass into a sovereign nation that has laws that prohibit such selfish conduct.

Please hear me out here – the reason I allude to the act of selfish conduct is simply because in a nation that has experienced more civil rights conventions than perhaps every other part of the world combined – has anyone thought if even for a nanosecond about the civil and/or human rights of those who were born, raised, experienced their first love, car, prom, varsity game, lover, cheerleader, fight, or enlisting into the armed forces to defend this nation and the people who live in it.

From the very founding of this nation – the United States of America – and even prior to that occasion, the founders had set laws against the very illegal immigration that is occurring now. What has got to be the quintessential rub in the face is in the notion of special interest groups such as the National Council of La Raza, MALDEF, with the National Caucus of Hispanic Leaders, the Congressional Black Caucus, NAACP, as well as the Southern Poverty Law Center.

Enough for now; however, we believe that there is enough rubbish (human excrement, caca) that is going on as far as demands with attitudes, “Now Show Me Your Papers” it is vitally important to the success of our proposed immigration reform that we get along, as we should.

What we are experiencing now is a form of cultural genocide. This is clearly evidenced by what material we, as individuals, and as a nation, felt were strong values. This is indeed clearly found within America’s Founding Documents. Where through the test of time and a few individuals who would not compromise on such values as liberty, the Judeo-Christian principles of conduct, as well as the rule of law. Additionally any threats against that liberty or freedom always called for immediate government action that kept those values that literally defined America as the sovereign nation that we once were.

The rule of law used to be highly valued in this country by the majority of citizens. But now the majority has been overcome by a collective of uninvited foreigners and persons convinced that they are passive victims – not active agents – in the making of their own lives. This new lawlessness is what feeds the success of the Democratic Party just as it diminishes our once great nation.

The Reagan amnesty only encouraged more lawlessness, and a new amnesty will do the same. American culture cannot survive this assault – we are literally being overwhelmed by a Latino insurgency that refuses to honor the laws of our land. What kind of citizenship can we expect from such people? Furthermore, it is safe to say that now this insurgency is not limited to Latino’s, rather is in fact including members of radical terrorist organizations from all parts of the world. And the special interests that demand citizenship for persons who literally failed citizenship tests at its most fundamental level – it is absurd.

Obama likes to talk about everyone “playing by the same rules”, but he intends to reward illegal immigrants for not doing so. He talks about the need to stop exporting jobs abroad – and yet – he supports the in-sourcing of illegal immigrants who take citizens’ jobs and deflate American wages.

Americans support legal and sustainable immigration but a new battle needs to be fought against those who support or encourage illegal immigration. Local communities need to gather and discuss what is happening to the culture of America and how best to define and preserve our core values (not the color of America, not abortion, and not gay marriage).

If we do not begin this discussion now, the freaky fringe will define our values for us. We need to stop being distracted by the minutiae and are refocused on the big picture: What is the status of the rule of law today? What is the right level of immigration in order to preserve American culture? What cultural traditions are you passing to your children – do you send your children to school prepared to learn? Are you cultivating a work ethic in your child? Are you raising an independent child or another child destined to be a Democrat?

Our grandparents and parents worked extremely hard without complaint – are we willing to do the same in order to save America. The Democrats are hoping you stay tuned to your reality TV- the more zombies the better. The weaker the people, the better, and the more dependent and hopeless people – the better off you’ll be.

My friends and neighbors are starting discussion groups in our neighborhoods. The tea party fringe is not welcome, but people who believe that America does have certain core values worth preserving are certainly welcome to join.

America is not Latin America. We have a right to preserve our culture just as they have a right to preserve theirs.

Its Oxymoron Time

It is “Oxymoron Time”; this is one of the inspirations we use to get going albeit, most of the times when we don’t want to write about the news. Actually it is the condition of the news that we abhor.

On the one hand we have an incumbent person in office that has trampled and crushed everything he stated in order to gain control of the office. Oh we are only addressing things such as transparency, posting legislative proceedings on C-Span within 5 days of any vote, accountability to the American people for immigration reform, green energy, and to “restore America as the number one country in the world by traveling abroad.”

So what is an oxymoron? Briefly an oxymoron is basically an expression that contains two or more contradictory words for effect. For example using a phrase such as “wise fool” or “legal murder” is rather obvious. However another definition for oxymoron that makes it more complete and a bit more thorough.

Phrases or complete sentences expressed to show words with opposite meanings are used more and more now that folks are really beginning to abuse the English language albeit, for laughs or pure unethical change. Examples of these are “a bittersweet experience” really equates to an experience one has had that is both unpleasant and pleasant.

Now all in good fun mind you, here is an example of how we play “Oxymoron Time”. How is it that a person who has failed miserably even considers the notion of getting four more years to trample and go against the law of the land and make things even worse?

Here is a good one, using the notion of opposites within a sentence we ask how does a person promise publicly to overhaul the Immigration and Naturalization Service within his first year of office; subsequently, begins to issue Memorandums of Order to various departments chiefs so it would appear that he has had nothing to do with it? Barack Obama lied first to Latinos and Hispanics (to capture their vote) then continued the lie for three years into his presidency before he started his backdoor amnesty accommodations.

As far as transparency, accountability, and the use of C-Span to keep the American people in the loop, what actually happened was the most egregious oxymoron for that time. He had various senators and representatives voting on a health care bill before it were even printed!

And the one for all time sake – that should get him impeached or indicted – is this entire cover-up known as Benghazi-Gate. On one hand the President, the Secretary of State, and the Ambassador to the United Nations from the U.S. were all spinning this lie about a 14-minute tape that caused such an upheaval, when in fact, this was a pre-planned orchestrated terrorist insurrection over who was to receive weapons among the rebels in Syria.

And now the person is still telling the American people that he did mutter these two words from the Rose Garden one day after watching this armored attack on the U.S. Consulate, “terror attack.”

The Sickening Abuses and Schemes of Obama

Earlier this morning after a brief discussion with our team I stated that “My fear is of major concern for our Nation – it’s not about various policies that like brief streams of wind come and go because for what it’s worth that is precisely what politicians do (and the staff here realize that I am definitely referring to human communication, twisting words, and making mockery out of context within a given content – [continuing] I stated that my biggest fear for me, mine, you, yours, and the entire lot of people living in America is none other than this man…Barack Obama.”

Paraphrasing here I also made mention of how could anyone living in this nation – America – possibly vote for this guy. Furthermore, upon being asked why, I very simply stated that I felt that not only was President Obama not qualified to be the POTUS; moreover, I feel that he is dangerous to the health, safety, and welfare of the Nation.

Naturally our earlier briefing session was longer than any of us thought it would be but there is one complete line of substantiated facts that we will never hear at a debate, or any public policy speech.

There should not be an American or anyone existing in this country that could possibly turn a blind eye, or non-hearing ears to the travesties that have occurred on Barack Obama’s watch – yet with the assistance of the mainstream media, as well as the gullibility of the people, including the lassie-faire consciousness and reluctance for people to do – efficacy – the notion of making a change in the political system of our nation. Therefore, again I reiterated that a vote for any other person running for the office of the President of the United States would be better than a condoning vote for Barack Obama.

We have addressed the relationship of content and context on this site for years. In addition, we have discussed the options of comparing and contrasting events. These parameters often used in History classes or Literature classes in the form of essays are asking for just that; foretelling by comparing or contrasting the facts that have occurred with what would or could be a more desirable outcome.

First we want to address content of what was stated by Obama on Sunday September 12, 2012 and we will present to you the actual words. Our question is what context was the language used? For example, was the President explaining an event that occurred; or, was he manipulating all of the content to prove his assertion that he did in fact, call the events that happened in Benghazi, Libya a “Terrorist Attack”?

From this point it is very conceivable that based on how the content was manipulated (out of context) as to why the events of the next fourteen days occurred namely the use of a video tape, a non-structured riot, the Nation’s Ambassador to the United Nations making appearances on all the Sunday morning shows, and finally the gumption of an unbiased press to contrast the White House’s story and subsequently, the official story.

The following is a transcript of the actual proceedings pursuant to last night’s debate with special emphasis given to the content, context, and the comparing and contrasting that for me represent a clear and present danger to those of us in America with Barack Obama as president.

Mr. Obama did make reference to the fact that “No acts of terror will ever shake the resolve of this great nation,” but his comments that day also appeared to reference the video, when he said, “We reject all efforts to denigrate the religious beliefs of others.” The administration changed its description of the attack, eventually describing it as a terror attack linked to al Qaeda sympathizers. Although this is what President Obama claims as his definition of calling what happened in Benghazi a “Terrorist” attack? “No acts of terror will ever shake the resolve of this great nation, alter that character, or eclipse the light of the values that we stand for. Today we mourn four more Americans who represent the very best of the United States of America.”

Please understand that the attempt of President Obama alleging that in the Rose Garden he made mention of the Benghazi attack remotely or even quasi-significant as a “Terrorist attack” is nothing more than manipulation of content within the parameters of the communiqué. This is what is often referred to as “taken out of context” and in this instance he sure did. The manipulation of words is perhaps one of the most deceitful means of scheming and launching horrendous fabrications.

I was just reading a great announcement on the Daily Post about issues that we could use as inspiration in various and sundry blogs. Well not being one to pass-up the chance to have a sanctioned rant or even a tirade, the only deterrent I’ve found is in the availability to keep focused whilst writing, because as you know – that as one thinks about those matters that cause the blood pressure to rise – it seems as though the more matters come to mind.

Without further adieu…

Today like most days I started my day with prayer. Seriously just think about this for a moment, a second if you have one: How many days or even nanoseconds does one have where the creator of everything we know of says, “Ask, please ask!” Of course we are not addressing just anyone here…

So here in my own boudoir I have God – I’m sure we all know a bit or two about Him or Her, right? But considering the notion that he’s asking…and we find in reading these words that he is pleading with us to stay with him; well, who am I that God would even be mindful of me? And to think him pleading with me to ask him for something…

For most days I begin my morning prayers by asking Him/her how much longer are we – as a society, culture, nation, even individually going to continue with the long-suffering wondering if this person in our White House is either going to get us killed or do so much damage to our way of life that it ceases to exist.

I am very, very mindful of the “Exodus” of the Jews from what we know as Egypt to the version of the Promised Land. Yes the Jews left the place with you in their sight – day and night – for a sojourn that they’d planned for 40 days and by the time of their arrival some 40 or so years later, one could imagine the Whew! We made it!

Of course not taking into consideration day after day their lives were being spared by you from their enemies. Seriously, when I think of walking through the Red Sea at your parting my fingers start twitching. Moreover, every time Moses went up into the mountains or was distracted by a burning bush – the physical changes that he received made him brightly unrecognizable to most and what about the gifts from you that he brought back?

Unfortunately in our country today that was settled and colonized with a Judeo-Christian background in all things. Even the most modest accruements such as the Ten Commandments, taking time to worship you and your Son on his birthday…and yes, we could not leave out Easter, or even a commencement speech at graduation that would give thanks to you; all being indignantly, yet some feel righteously are being taken away from us.

It does indeed get worse when one considers that our very government is working – burning the midnight oil – figuring out God-less schemes to have us stop thinking or praying to you. Well Ma’am or Sir, I hear you, and no need to plead or even ask for that matter, I’m praying for your saving grace for this land we call America…even some of us call it home.

So interesting was the seminar that we have not been this intellectually stimulated since our days at university. Today most of us here at TCT were treated to a conference given by experts in their respected fields of discipline – all of which agreed to the notion that – in their lifetimes they have not witnessed such a left-leaning liberal bias in the main-stream media.

One of the first examples they used was apparently from 60 Minutes aired this past Sunday night (September 23, 2012) where Barack Obama openly admitted that he accepted the notion of, “…a few more bumps in the road…” within the same reference as the terrorists attacks in Libya, Egypt, and other areas where an American Ambassador and two Navy Seals were murdered.

A lot of time was spent on this profane subject insofar as the incidents clearly lacked adequate support on the anniversary of 9_11_01; furthermore, when attention waned to the moment of President Obama making his presence on the television show The View rather than giving full attention to the president of Egypt, who just happens to be a member of the jihadist Muslim Brotherhood who are getting quite uppity about $1.6 billion dollars in military aid sent to them for free (same as 20 years ago).

Much of the focus was directly on the main-stream media who continues to bleed ink onto their front pages about anything that Romney could possibly do, whilst at the same time for what the president openly admitted to never reached a paper!

Health Insurance Premiums Surge Despite Obama’s Promise To Cut Them

Health insurance premiums have shot up by more than $3,000 per family in the past four years — despite Barack Obama’s 2008 campaign promise to reduce them by $2,500.
The cost of the average policy has risen by $3,065 since then-candidate Obama made his pledge, an Investor’s Business Daily survey reveals. They have gone up by $2,370 since he entered the White House in 2009.
“What’s more, premiums climbed faster in Obama’s four years than they did in the previous four under President Bush, the survey data show,” the Daily reports.

The newspaper says that Obama promised in February 2008, “We are going to work with you to lower your premiums by $2,500. We will not wait 20 years from now to do it, or 10 years from now to do it. We will do it by the end of my first term as president.” He made similar promises throughout the campaign. (Read more at News Max.)
