    After considerable information gathering and some ripping research we at American Age have decided to bring our knowledge, experience, and insight to the slipping of America's never-ending saga of lowering the bar of acceptable standards of conduct and decency. We believe that it's time for that proverbial 'line' to be drawn in the sand primarily with, but not limited to: Illegal Immigration, Sexual Orientation, (or whatever that is?) and Education.

Lindsay Lohan as Marilyn Monroe in “The Last Sitting”

lohan08.jpgAs if that ego needed any more pumping up. And here comes the boldness: If I were ‘LiLo’ I wouldn’t be thinking I was anywhere near who, or what, Marilyn Monroe was or the legacy she left in Hollywood. In fact, if I were ‘LiLo’ I would feel proud that someone thought I looked like Ms. Monroe; however, with the greatest of respect to everyone concerned:

Lindsey Lohan simply has better assets than Ms. Monroe ever did, no matter how expensive.

No questions about it however, this is going to cause one humongous sheeit storm around Hollywood; moreover, it’ll still be flying around the world. It is indeed quite flattering to even be compared to the magnificent Marilyn Monroe.  

And indeed a lot of actresses and models have been; yet, never to this degree; for the record I still think that Lindsey Lohan is far better equipped. So much so that the servers at New York Magazine crashed when the story (and pics) were released.

In 1962, photographer Bert Stern shot a series of photos of Marilyn Monroe that have collectively come to be known as “The Last Sitting.” Taken during several boozy sessions at the Hotel Bel-Air, the photographs are arguably the most famous images ever captured of America’s most famous actress.

Monroe, sleepy-eyed and naked, sips from a Champagne glass, enacts a fan dance of sorts with various diaphanous scarves, romps with erotic playfulness on a bed of white linens. Six weeks after she had posed, Monroe was found dead of an apparent barbiturate overdose.    Please read on…
