After considerable information gathering and some ripping research we at American Age have decided to bring our knowledge, experience, and insight to the slipping of America's never-ending saga of lowering the bar of acceptable standards of conduct and decency. We believe that it's time for that proverbial 'line' to be drawn in the sand primarily with, but not limited to: Illegal Immigration, Sexual Orientation, (or whatever that is?) and Education.

The gall and stupidity of some…

What next?

What next?

During American Age we have never said anything spiteful or with hate in matters of illegal immigration. We are the big advocates of immigration and we certainly understand that America would not be what it is today without her immigrants and respect for the true matter of law.

However, nothing incites us more than illogical notions, distorted facts, making a mockery of history, and plain and simple stupidity.

It is imperative, absolutely important that each of us study, read, and do our research before making such claims as domesticity and origins of various civilizations, cultures, and societies.

In fact quite recently anthropologists and archeologists released data from their study on Africans and the America’s whereby their evidence clearly showed that African peoples lived in the America’s during pre-Columbian time. This data had not been generally accepted insofar as evidence did not support the claim.

Subsequently, due to their efforts and persistence the accumulated evidence collected over a period of years leaves no doubt that Africans navigated the oceans and began colonizing the America’s.

Does this mean that historically Africans are indigenous to the America’s? No it doesn’t; no more than the French being in Canada, the Mississippi Valley onward to the Caribbean islands since at least 1500 A.D. Or the undisputed notion that the Portuguese and Spaniards literally battled over portions of what is now Florida.

The simple point is this: If one is going to subscribe to Darwinism – the evolution of man – or to Spencer’s ideals of “survival of the fittest” one would have to ask, “Who or what was here before me?”

Making claims of land ownership during the such and such period or ‘know your history…we were here first’ will draw more attention to what you don’t know rather than what you think you know.

And finally…if one immigrates to a particular nation, it is NOT incumbent upon that nation to recognize any of one’s customs or traditions or holiday celebrations. It sickens me to see people in this country illegally—demonstrating and protesting—whilst at the same time celebrating their nation’s independence from Spain and holding some ignorant sign about knowing history.
