Just as the title says, we’ve decided to adventure just a bit. We’ve decided to wander away from our regular reporting cum informing and sharing a bit of news and for the first time – ewww, head rush! – feeling a bit adolescent like it was something naughty.
Well nothing naughty mind you just trying to ease up and put some humor into perspective. Most of these little anecdotes are from a book, written by Mark W. Smith, yep that Mr. Smith, best-selling author of many books, however this book in particular has got me laughing out loud. The book is entitled, The Official Handbook of the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy.
We do hope that you’ll enjoy these little parodies:
Did you know that the phrase “Comprehensive Immigration Reform” and “Earned Citizenship” and other legislative schemes are nothing more than attempts and/or excuses for amnesty?
As shown by September 11th the Beltway Snipers and the Fort Dix jihadists, illegal immigration is a national security of the highest priority. We wonder why our government remains so inactive! Did we mention the underwear bomber (ouch!!) or even the Times Square bomber…nope.
Did you know that if we simply enforced existing laws against employers who hire illegal immigrants would perhaps stem the flow of illegal’s coming into our nation?
There are so many more and maybe we’ll have the opportunity to share again. However, we’d like to leave this writing with this one single fact.
Multiculturalism is dangerous for America, whilst assimilation is the path to success for immigrants. Along that continuum please consider the following analogy.
Multiculturalism is dangerous – oh really now? So we should emphasize our differences over our similarities? We should encourage immigrants to embrace the culture of the place they just abandoned and reject the culture of the place to which they ran? Great, simply a great idea! Maybe we’ll end up like one of those places where ethnic and cultural differences matter more than anything else – perhaps like Northern Ireland or Bosnia, or maybe go a bit further say like Rwanda or Darfur. What do you think?
