Reform immigration and Visa Statutes

Reform immigration and Visa Statutes

The San Bernardino shooters — Tashfeen Malik and her husband Syed Farook — emailed for several weeks before deciding to meet each other for the first time, according to Malik’s immigration file, portions of which were released today by the House Judiciary Committee.

Given the overall amount of terroristic attacks in this nation, how long and when is our government going to do something about this constant and reckless disregard of factual information?

The House Judiciary Committee investigates whether Malik’s visa was issued improperly. Chairman Bob Goodlatte says immigration officials did not do enough to screen Malik’s application and alleges that the passport stamps on Malik’s Saudi visa don’t prove she and Farook were in Saudi Arabia at the same time.

Malik, who was from Pakistan but had lived in Saudi Arabia, came to the U.S. last summer on a “fiancé” visa and later obtained a Green Card, U.S. officials have said. Malik married Farook, an American of Pakistani descent, in August 2014 and the couple had a baby six months before the Dec. 2 massacre that killed 14. Both died in a shootout with police afterwards.

dhs sealJust revealing this little portion of the released documents and information that is well-known to a majority of Americans — this entire notion of Malik, came to the U.S. last summer on a “fiancé” visa and later obtained a Green Card. This has set up a series of red flags that cannot be ignored by the following agencies: Department of Homeland Security, (DHS) United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement, (USCIS) always the Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosive Devices (ATF), there are far more agencies but what does it matter ($$) if a person can obtain these credentials so easily.

Allow me to ask a question: How many of us were aware of a “Fiancé” visa when the term itself leads one to believe that these people were not married!

Please be advised that this writer has written about the costs of Visa lotteries (giveaways), and to be completely within the law, partners of same-sex marriage people are lined up and ready to get their papers, the same with illegal aliens, and any refugee or asylum seekers the world over.

Please if anyone from the named agencies happen to be reading, let’s cut to the chase and make you folks as safe as possible.

Greta Van Susteren inspires with “Why don’t we try something new?”

Greta Van Susteren inspires with “Why don’t we try something new?”

Whilst reading last evening I make it a point to happen across other influential person’s writings and I must admit that Greta van Susteren’s article on her site, posted onto Face Book did precisely what the doctor ordered.

eagle4Greta writes, “The nation is – or at least it seems so to me – terribly divided. Everyone has picked a group – whether it be by gender or ethnic background, etc. – and placed a stake in the ground. When this happens, people divide, not unite. This is taking sides, not joining together and you know what happens when people just take sides.”

Continuing she says, “Why don’t we go back to the old concept of America being a melting pot and all of us being Americans with first emphasis being on common goals.

I wrote at pretty good length an (hopefully) inspiring response that having sat on it for about 18 hours I would like to share with you and again, hopefully, get some response.

I do not think Greta is in error whatsoever with her feelings. The fact has it that the American mind-set has changed and primarily so with visitors, students, as well as illegal immigrants just making plans to sojourn to America for a spell.

0930-cittest_thumbnail_288_croppedFor the last 150 years or so, to be an immigrant with citizenship aspirations one needed to aspire to assimilate in every American way possible. Let’s say that 100 or more years ago, acquiring written and spoken English skills was not a problem. At all —

One specific issue is that people come to America now – not for the sake of the Nation – yet rather for the life styles and standards of living for their children and relatives that supersede their own. You see, it is not for the Nation that they come, rather, it is for what they can take from the country.

And I will point a finger of blame here, or what is mentioned as attribution. Years ago our wretched Congress as well as other branches within the federal government thought it overly wise to liberalize America. By this what I mean is the unadulterated inclusion of every sojourner’s wants and needs. Although fact has it that these people did not earn their keep.

As long as special interest groups AND American rights and privileges could be bestowed upon these people,flageag9 what on earth was different? Therefore the mentality of these individuals grabbed those special interest groups. Then it is logical that sojourner’s would also lobby or protest congressional officials and in most cases – those who had the least power – special interests within unions, universities, colleges, and school districts in order to make them feel as though they did.

I find that there is a critical piece of this situation missing. Several actually… Pride in yourself as well as country; achieving the American Way or The Great American Dream, takes giving it all away…meaning give one’s self away for the great Nation that one is making.

This my friends is where America is suffering. Some or most say it is coming from the White House. Others say it is from a bunch of idealistic congress people. One must remember that when everyone assimilates, then there is NOT groups or otherwise divide.

When one thinks of the mainstream media

images (21)When one thinks of the mainstream media in our country it is laughable how many times these alleged “writers, journalists, commentators, news anchors, people of high notoriety and those again with lower values deliberately defraud anyone and everyone who reads, listens, or watches their stories.

It would take much to sit here and write out the false claims that many of these huge name — Dan Rather, Brian Williams, and others — who have misreported stories for their own publicity and certainly for their own financial gain.

Yet, let us look at some of these people and how they have deliberately misreported even what an aspiring person has said — in other words, taken people, positions, and what they’ve held and through laziness and doing a shotty job of not re-listening to an original tape, or even a video, or for whose sake take quality notes especially when one is going to quote someone else.

Recently a reporter completely took what Mr. Donald Trump spoke about and rather than redoing anything, created an extreme load of excrement and before those who have business with Mr. Trump had complied by doing their due-diligence have in the opinion of this writer, become worse for not having done their jobs.

ms13tatoosTrump deplored immigrants from Mexico who “have lots of problems” and are “bringing those problems to us.”

“They’re bringing drugs, they’re bringing crime, they’re rapists,” he said, adding, “and some, I assume, are good people.”

Jorge Ramos, a prominent Univision host, called Trump’s remarks “absurd” and “prejudiced.” But is there any truth about what he is saying?

“At Univision, we see first-hand the work ethic, love for family, strong religious values and the important role Mexican immigrants and Mexican-Americans have had and will continue to have in building the future of our country,” the company said. Again is there any truth to the matter? Of course there is…

There are two lines of text transcribed from the original article at the Washington Post that Mr. Trump proffered, and four plus lines of text (same article) from the prominent Univision host proffered by Jorge Ramos.

However and most importantly — did anyone read, “truth about the matter? Of course there is… Trump is basically using his freedom of speech rights in stating, “deplored immigrants from Mexico ” so other than speaking the gospel truth about his observations what has Mr. Trump done that is wrong.

It absolutely chills me of late (since Washington inside the beltway crowd started it) at how people are demanding apologies2011-04-29 20.25.06 from people who are telling the truth. Did you know that your President Barack Obama, released in one day over 36,000 felony committed criminals from prisons around the nation? Let me think about this one, do you think that maybe out of 36,000 prisoners released, that just maybe some of them had  “have lots of problems” and are “bringing those problems to us.” “They’re bringing drugs, they’re bringing crime, they’re rapists:” even the reporter from the Washington Post eluded to the “truth to the matter, of course there is…”

Okay I have been able to write the entire truth. But I would be being very remiss if I did not duly warn our reader’s that as long as you are putting up with a former Secretary of State (Hillary Clinton) not telling the truth to otherwise evidence of facts of her lying and misrepresenting the truth, or continue to allow your President Barack Obama to break Constitutional law on a whim because…”he can” focus on the issues people.

A federal judge in Texas

A federal judge in Texas has threatened to hold Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson and other top immigration Gavel resizedenforcement officials in contempt of court for not fixing problems that led to work permits being mistakenly awarded under President Barack Obama’s executive immigration action after the judge had put the plan on hold.

The Justice Department had said about 2,000 individuals had been sent three-year work authorizations after U.S. District Judge Andrew Hanen in Brownsville, Texas, temporarily blocked the immigration action on Feb. 16.

In a court order Tuesday, Hanen said government officials have yet to fix the problem. The judge also requested Johnson and four other officials attend an Aug. 19 hearing to explain why the issue hasn’t been fixed and to “be prepared to show why he or she should not be held in contempt of court.”

“This court has expressed its willingness to believe that these actions were accidental and not done purposefully to violate this court’s order. Nevertheless, it is shocked and surprised at the cavalier attitude the government has taken with regard to its ‘efforts’ to rectify this situation,” Hanen wrote.

The other officials are: R. Gil Kerlikowske, commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection; Ronald Vitiello, deputy chief of the U.S. Border Patrol; Sarah Saldaña, director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement; and Leon Rodriguez, director of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.

dhs sealHomeland Security spokeswoman Marsha Catron said in an email her agency and the Justice Department are reviewing Hanen’s order. Justice Department spokesman Patrick Rodenbush declined to comment.

In court documents filed in May, Rodríguez had said his agency had implemented “immediate corrective measures,” including revoking the permits and modifying computer systems to prevent issuing such permits in the future.

Hanen said in his order that if the federal government fixes the problem by July 31, he will cancel the Aug. 19 hearing.

Obama proposed in November expanding a program that protects young immigrants from deportation if they were brought to the U.S. illegally as children and adding another that extends deportation protections to parents of U.S. citizens and permanent residents who have been in the country for some years.

He said lack of action by Congress forced him to make sweeping changes to immigration rules on his own, but Republicans said Obama overstepped his authority. (Typical!)

The judge had issued the injunction at the request of a coalition of 26 states, led by Texas, which have filed a lawsuit to stop Obama’s action, saying it is unconstitutional. An appeal of Hanen’s ruling is set to be argued Friday before the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans.

Hanen has previously criticized the federal government’s actions in the lawsuit, saying the government had been “misleading” after officials revealed that more than 108,000 people had already received three-year reprieves from deportation as well as work permits when the judge had believed that no action would be taken before he issued a ruling on the injunction.

Justice Department attorneys apologized for any confusion regarding the 108,000 reprieves but insisted they were granted under a 2012 program that wasn’t affected by the injunction.

So which is it — on the one part we have a decent judge doing his job for the people; yet, on the other hand we have the Justice Department changing, altering, and furthermore making up rules and laws to deflect this judge’s intentions. This kind of activity by the Justice Department has been going on for years — accordingly it was once upheld because of the famous “Hoover ruling.” However, the bad news now is that there is evidence that every department in the US Federal government is sliding in one way or another.

Allow me please, why do you think the nation has been hit with so many “cyber-attacks” in recent weeks and months? When the group of cyber-attackers gets a whiff that a nation’s National Security Agency is checking and datamining sensitive material; moreover, when the group of cyber-attackers gets certified means that the former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, did not tell the truth regarding her independent servers were nestled in her home somehow doing “charitable work” when in reality she is breaking United States law, breaching everything from National security, opening up highways of encrypted data sources, top secret information, to any predator or largest bidder involved. What do you think is going on?

And now primarily because of these actions, the largest data-mining companies such as Google, Twitter, Facebook, and all the rest are setting their feet down with the Washington elite — or Washington’s white collar criminals.

Along with Texas, the states seeking to block Obama’s action are: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, West Virginia and Wisconsin

DO NOT BLAME AMERICA OR AMERICANS

DO NOT BLAME AMERICA OR AMERICANS

Is what he is saying, in any way up to him? Is he paying for it? Senator Leahy should be censored.

Is what he is saying, in any way up to him? Is he paying for it? Senator Leahy should be censured.

America’s miserable failure to cope with illegal immigration is claiming another round of victims. Although this unnamed writer will remain unnamed, his condescending peerage of America’s immigration policy has not and will not go unabated or unnoticed. According to this writer he admonishes America for our miserable failure to cope with illegal immigration; furthermore he exhorts, that America is claiming — almost as planned — another round of victims. These are the kind of journalists that left their better side somewhere else.

Let us get rascally with this dupe, shall we? For one huge although unfounded reason America is getting blamed once again for not being the world’s nanny. One should never, ever forget that a nation’s immigration policy or lack thereof is the business of primarily the executive branch with congress filling in for the rough-over’s.

Because America has been the kindest, most civilized nation on earth — we suggest one look at their taxes inasmuch as this nation has billions almost trillions of dollars going out in aide to other nations on a no refund, not to worry about paying it back basis. Or if further proof is needed we implore you to simply walk in to any 7-11 store, gas station convenience store, restaurant or hotel to be further reminded. What will it take for this person to see or acknowledge more than twelve million people who are here illegally.

Thousands of Central American children and mothers who’ve been trekking across Mexico after hearing rumors that Barack Obama had stopped deporting border-crossers.foolmetwice-130x190

Okay then gossip and rumors have been around since the beginning of recorded history. We would like to ask you where someone on the shear risk and travel internationally to what — view the U.S.A. from the other side of the fence? Good grief person, whether or not Obama is giving that impression, is totally irrelevant to your argument. But what is relevant is the notion of this:

How safe, how good is it for the health of a child or in your particular case, both mother and child to travel such distances all based on a rumor. Just to let some whistles get blown here, please check my last month of publication…it all has to do with the incomprehensible claims that one, the House and Senate have been making here in the USA; whilst, the other articles have been about the competence of those who are willing to allow their children to travel alone, or, for those individuals who have simply sent their children with money to the United States with the knowledge that it is wrong and that it is illegal.

What is now in order as baby steps

What is now in order as baby steps

As easily as possible, nah, as gentle as possible we will slowly present and discuss issues of emanate unusual bizarreness however painfully scrupulous and as vigilant as the topics may be. Our challenges are daunting and our path is difficult, but there are near- and long-term goals we must pursue.

With any degree of hope this is not a time sensitive course of action. What we need to do is reflect on the events of the election, query and question why a nation that appeared done with its foray of leadership being involved with all sorts of illegal activities from walking guns to cartels to openly dealing with elements known to be on enemy combatant lists.

We need to learn from this experience, whist getting up and preparing for the future’s challenges. Let me just say that while it is necessary and important to defend against soft, open tyranny, while things look as gloomy as they possibly can, it is time we become more proactive and take aggressive steps against this. We must take control of the future. We must follow a new course truly a conservative, constitutional course.

The problems which our society faces are complex and thus require nuanced solutions. For example, government responses which assume that poverty is solely the result of circumstances beyond a person’s control or, conversely, solely someone’s fault, will miss the root causes of this issue. And maybe even thrust people to use food stamps and other entitlements which they normally would not.

In addition, we must certainly not forget who we are as a Nation; moreover, who we are with the world’s oldest successful ruling guidelines that we have in our Constitution. Furthermore, we see our Nation as like the boxer who having hit the canvas twice each round for every round, we still maintain to get up and continue the fight.

The notion is envisioned that we take our laborious issues such as immigration reform – and rather than find a vote-pleasing way by which to correct the entire system of the (former) Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) by the stroke of the pen has really not reformed anything at all.

In an action such as immigration reform whereby the POTUS signed and issued a Memorandum of Understanding to the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) with orders and whatnot. Therefore allowing for unlawful status changes in the work behaviors, permanent resident changes, and allowing an unqualified and unlawful version of the DREAM Act to move gently through the night is abdicating every reasonable reference to problem-solving known throughout history of humankind.

Here is a small prelude to the reality of what’s going on and we need to prepare —

Only in America can a president who inherits a deep recession and whose policies have actually made the effects of that recession worse get re-elected. Only in America can a president who wants the bureaucrats who can’t run the Post Office to micromanage the administration of every American’s health care get re-elected. Only in America can a president who kills Americans overseas who has never been charged or convicted of a crime get re-elected. Finally only in America can a president who borrowed and spent more than $5 trillion in fewer than four years plans to repay none of it and promises to borrow another $5 trillion in his second term get re-elected.

It is fair to say that Obama is the least skilled and least effective American president since Jimmy Carter, but he is far more menacing. His every instinct is toward the central planning of the economy and the federal regulation of private behavior. He has no interest in protecting American government employees in harm’s way in Libya, and he never admits he has been wrong about anything.

Though he took an oath to uphold the Constitution, he treats it as a mere guideline, whose grand principles intended to guarantee personal liberty and a diffusion of power can be twisted and compromised to suit his purposes. He rejects the most fundamental of American values — that our rights come from our Creator, and not from the government.

His rejection of that leads him to an expansive view of the federal government, which permits it, and thus him, to right any wrong, to regulate any behavior and to tax any event, whether authorized by the Constitution or not, and to subordinate the individual to the state at every turn.

It is unsettling to find Obama back in the White House for another four years. That sinking feeling comes from the knowledge that he is free from the need to keep an eye on the electorate, and from the terrible thought that he may be the authoritarian we have all known and feared would visit us one day and crush our personal freedoms.

Iran threatens to block key oil shipment

Threatens to block key oil shipment

U.S. military officials warned Wednesday that any attempt by Iran to disrupt oil shipments at the mouth of the Persian Gulf “will not be tolerated,” as Iran threatened for the second day in a row to interfere with the critical passageway.

Pentagon spokesman George Little describe the route, the Strait of Hormuz, as an “economic lifeline” vital to stability in the region. He said any attempt to block it would be “problematic.”

Meanwhile, a spokeswoman for the U.S. Navy’s 5th fleet warned Iran against disrupting shipments in the strait, saying the U.S. Navy keeps a “robust presence in the region” and is “ready to counter malevolent actions to ensure freedom of navigation.”

Well as for us we implore this spokesperson and the cadre he represents to be a the ready if anyone starts playing funny little games out there.

“Anyone who threatens to disrupt freedom of navigation in an international strait is clearly outside the community of nations; any disruption will not be tolerated,” Fleet spokeswoman Lt. Rebecca Rebarich said. And to the good Lt. let “not be tolerated” be an action so strategically planned that if will make Operation Desert Shield look childish.

The warning comes as Iranian officials stand by earlier threats to use the passageway to retaliate if the West imposes new sanctions targeting Tehran’s oil exports over the country’s suspect nuclear program.

Iran’s navy chief warned Wednesday that his country can close the waterway. “Closing the Strait of Hormuz is very easy for Iranian naval forces,” Adm. Habibollah Sayyari told state-run Press TV. “Iran has comprehensive control over the strategic waterway.”

On Tuesday, Vice President Mohamed Reza Rahimi also threatened to close the strait, cutting off oil exports, if the West imposes sanctions on Iran’s oil shipments.

All of this comes at a tense time, as the Iranian navy carries out a 10-day naval exercise that includes dispatching warships and drones over the vital waterway. The exercises are being carried out on the eastern side of the strait and down into the Gulf of Aden and could put Iranian ships on a collision course with U.S. naval vessels.

The strait is just 34 miles wide, and about 20 percent of the world’s oil shipments pass through. Their commanders should know this; furthermore barring any U.S. Naval operations should be met with extreme measures.

The mere threat of closing the strait has caused oil prices to rise above $100 a barrel. The entire Iran navy should at all efforts keep their fleet completely away from any U.S. Naval operations.

With concern growing over a possible drop-off in Iranian oil supplies, a senior Saudi oil official said Gulf Arab nations are ready to offset any loss of Iranian crude.

That reassurance led to a drop in world oil prices. In New York, benchmark crude fell 77 cents to $100.57 a barrel in morning trading. Brent crude fell 82 cents to $108.45 a barrel in London.

But a closure of the strait could temporarily cut off some oil supplies and force shippers to take longer, more expensive routes that would drive oil prices higher. It also potentially opens the door for a military confrontation that would further rattle global oil markets.

The threats underline Iranian concern that the West is about to impose new sanctions that could target Tehran’s vital oil industry and exports.
